The following flow chart should help provide a high level overview of how all of the different resources and buildings fit together within the economy of Praetoria. Click on the image to enlarge it.

The blue Resource Production structures are categorized as worksites, and the purple Resource Refinement structures are categorized as buildings.

September 14, 2026 UPDATE: this diagram is somewhat out of date. The Laboratory building and elemental essences will be removed, as they have been deemed unnecessary. The Lithification Site building has been renamed to Blast Furnace, and magical resources & essence will feed directly into the input requirements for producing elemental foods & elemental stones from the Mill and Blast Furnace buildings, respectively.
