Transportation

Transportation of resources between Regions and/or players will simply use the Internal Market in phase 2 and beyond. The user interface will make it so that this is a seamless experience where when a player wants to transport resources from one Region to another, or to another player, they will complete a simple form and behind the scenes the resources will be swapped for DEC and the DEC will be swapped back for the same resources but in a different Region and/or player account, in a single transaction.

The fees for doing so will be the same as for all transactions using the internal market and can be lowered by contributing to Infrastructure Projects in both the source and destination Regions. Using the internal market for transportation behind the scenes will help to provide more swap fees to be generated which will, in turn, help encourage more liquidity to be added to the markets.
